Also covered on the course is the use of an automatic electronic defibrillator, the role of the first aider, accident reporting, legislation, prioritising casualties, CPR and the recovery position.

 

This is the new level 3 qualification course which runs over 1 full day with continual assessment.    

 

The cost is £75 which includes face-to-face training, manual, certificate, email support and assessment.  The qualification is valid for 3 years following successful completion and meets the latest HSE criteria. It will be necessary to renew before this period elapses to maintain the qualification.

 

Learners will need to wear comfortable clothing, suitable for moving around and kneeling/lying on the floor.
