VTCT Level 3 Certificate In
Massage Using Pre-blended Aromatherapy Oils
The following units are included in this course:
UV30468 Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
UV30491 Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
UV30425 Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
The course runs over 4 full days, followed by a final 1/2 day for assessment and exam
Learners must have a recognised level 3 massage qualification before attending this course
After the course learners will need to compile a portfolio of evidence, complete case studies and assignments/workbooks
Learners will need to bring their evidence to a final 1/2 day session during which they will undertake a practical assessment and 2 final external exam papers
The cost is £450 which includes face-to-face training, manuals, email support and assessment
Additional costs - £67.50 VTCT exam fee (2021-2022)
Learners are expected to wear salon uniform, minimal makeup, no nail polish or jewellery and hair should be tied back and off the face. If learners do not own a salon uniform, they may wear black trousers, flat closed-in black shoes, black socks and a plain black t-shirt or polo shirt
Learners will be expected to purchase their own pre-blended kit costing £42 plus VAT (details will be provided) and to bring their own towels, blankets and pillow
The course covers history, contra indications, preparation for treatment, techniques, anatomy and physiology and aftercare advice
